God Speaks
One night after insomnia hell, tossing and turning and spankin' the monkey to try to take my mind off work and relax, last night I had a lovely 9 hour uninterrupted snooze. I woke up chipper and refreshed this morning, with Curt preparing me a bowl of fresh melon and blasting dance music as I showered. As is our routine, he came in at about 6:45am, opened the blinds, said "Goodmorning Beautiful!", gave me a kiss, and proceeded to deliver the weather forecast as I turned over and hugged a pillow.

Yesterday was another day filled with meetings (from 10am straight through until 5:30pm). It is a schedule that I am starting to get used to. Luckily though, today I only have two meetings, and I can probably get away with only mildly participating in both. I will get through them confident that by this time tomorrow I will be a multi-millionaire - my BIG GAME quick-picks will come through and change my life forever tonight. Right? Right.

For some reason I've found myself with a big wad of one-dollar bills in my pocket today. This is God's way of telling me to go to the Paradise this weekend for some stripper action, I think. We must all listen to these subtle messages and not question them. If God's will is for me to see strippers and drink beer, who am I to question His wisdom?

Hello, world!
It was the first real warm day of Spring. 72 degrees today, but of course I couldn't appreciate it because I was inside darkenned meeting rooms, training people with InFocus projectors on our new systems at work.

At any rate, I made up for it by going out tonight with my hubby. Celebrated the end of two days of training captivity by taking a long walk in the warm evening weather - we made multiple stops to buy Big Game lottery tickets (estimated jackpot is at $150,000,000), stopped at Fritz's, Cleary's and Baja for a couple beers (met a cute mounted policeman named Pat and his horse, Camden, too). I had a craving for oysters so ended up at Turner Fisheries for yummy (but overpriced) oysters and jumbo shrimp. Now we are home, Frazier is on, and gee it feels nice to be Blogging again. I miss you all, and I'm not gone for good - I promise I'll be writing again on a regular basis just as soon as the work gods permit.

Oh, I must make a note here that my allergies began this past week. Sneezing, itchy eyes. I don't know what I'm alergic to but it always starts about this time every year.
